Adoption Process & Pricing
Our Adoption Process:
Thank You For Your Interest
Our puppies are $3,200 for an Australian Labradoodle and $3,500 for a Bernedoodle (includes reservation fee, pet price). A $500 non-refundable reservation is required to reserve your puppy and maintain your ‘place in line’ on the mutually agreed upon litter that you’re on. As stated above, this reservation fee goes towards the total cost. However, the first step in the process is to complete and submit the Puppy Adoption Application (link below). We will then review your submission and if we feel like there is potential for a good fit we will reach out to you to discuss next steps.
Litter selection is based upon the date in which your reservation is received. We do try to be conservative on reservations as we do not like to disappoint and too many reservations could result in disappointment, so once X-ray’s confirm more than expected puppies, we will reopen the litter for additional reservations.
Puppy picking takes place around six weeks, which is dependent on several factors (timing of 1st vaccinations, potential breeding holdbacks, etc.). The order of picks is based on your place on the chosen litter, which again is dictated by the date of reservation. You will know your place in the picking order early in the process, as we like to provide everyone with complete transparency.
*** Breeder reserves the right to hold back any puppy for purposes of maintaining it’s breeding stock/program. ***
Options for Picking up Your Puppy
Our Home
We love when families come to our home, to pick up their puppy. You can visit our home and meet us, the puppies and their parents.
Hand Delivery to You
You can arrange to have your puppy delivered to you by our recommended and frequently used Flight Nanny. If you are interested in having your puppy hand delivered, please contact us so we can put you in direct contact with our Nanny to discuss individual pricing and options.
*** Hand Delivery is not included in the puppy price ***
Local Airport Delivery
You can also fly into one of our local airports (FLO/CLT/MYR/CAE/CHS) and we will hand delivery your puppy to the airport, for a fee of $200. This is an option if you don’t have time to come to our home to pick up your puppy.
*** Airport Delivery is not included in the puppy price ***
Our Visitation Policy
As a health measure and safety precaution for our pups and moms, our home is not open to the general public for visits. If you have a confirmed reservation on an upcoming litter, you will have the opportunity to meet our parent dogs (that live here) at our home during the puppy selection process (week 6/7) and/or during puppy pick up day, when your puppy is eight weeks of age!
Thanks for your understanding!

Why Choose a South Carolina Little Doodle? Here's our Promise to you . . . . . .
At South Carolina Little Doodles, we take our dogs seriously! Our labradoodles are a part of our family and live indoors. Each dog has completed comprehensive health testing and we strive for proper temperament, ability and conformation.
Adopting your next family member is an exciting time, and your enthusiasm should be met with the same! Although our main goal is to ensure that every one of our Australian Labradoodle puppies is placed into a loving and involved “furever” home, we also want our future owners to be involved in the process even before your puppy is born. From puppy count X-rays, to whelping and newborn pictures that keep you totally up to date, we offer our future owners a wonderful, involved experience! Weekly pictures and videos are shared, as well as weekly developmental information to let you know exactly what’s happening with your Little Doodle puppy.
All of our breeding dogs live in a loving forever home, not a kennel. Most of our breeding dogs live in Guardian Homes where they receive individualized love and attention during their breeding careers.
When the dog is retired from breeding the dog remains in it’s Guardian Home and ownership is turned over to the Guardians at time of spay or neuter. All of our breeding dogs will be of good health and temperament.
All of our breeding dogs will be health tested according to the recommendations and guidelines of the ALCA breeder standards. At a minimum, testing of the parents includes the following:
- Hip Clearance by OFA or Dr. Wallace
- OFA Elbow Clearance
- Eye exam by an Opthomologist certified by CERF
- PRA testing or cleared via parentage
- vWD
- Exercise Induced Collapse
- Improper Coat
- Degenerative Myelopathy
